We need to have a talk.

First off. Steve, Congrats! You are off to college. What a fun and exciting time of your life. You will love it. Find lots of cool friends and have an awesome time!

Second. Mom. Don't be sad. We all love you and wish we could all live with you in Benicia, but we can't. Just think of all the free time you will have for yourself and dad. Yeah. Also you will just have to start planning more vacations to visit us. I found a good website that tells you of good deals on flights. You can put where you want to fly to. I put in Spokane to Oakland and it tells me off cheap flights. I just saw one for $160 to oakland. It was only in September so I didn't get it but they have some good deals. The website is airfare watchdog. You all should sign up for there emails.

Lastly. To everyone else. Your lives must not be very exciting since there aren't very many posts. Unfortuantly I don't believe that. Let us know what is going on. Love you all.

Question for Everyone

Hello everyone. I was thinking about planning our next year fam reunion here in Montana so I was wondering a few things. How long could everyone come for? There is alot of stuff to do and I could plan over a week of places to see and things to do, but how much time to people have? A week or a weekend? Also when could everyone do it. Mom mentioned we would have to do it before Steve's b-day in July because he will be leaving on his mission if we want him to come. The only prob is that it isn't super hot here at that time so we would run into a few issues. For one if we go to Glacier National Park the "going to the sun road" which is the road that goes through the park, might still be closed. It was this year. Next I thought it would be fun to rent a boat or jet skii's and have a fun day on Flathead lake. It is a huge beautiful lake. It might not be hot enough in June to enjoy it. So let me know what everyone thinks. June, colder with steve or August, more fun no bro. I guess the real question is when would everyone be able to go on a trip. Because obviously we all want Steven there. Let me know. Once I know I will plan an awesome trip for yall.

Also, I started my own blog for bro and i. It is brodieandashley.blogspot.com. Check it out. Love you all.

Sons Of Liberty

OK, Last week, I went up near sacramento for the 2008 Sons of Liberty LDS Scout Encampment. It was pretty cool. It's pretty much a massive Scout gathering, where a bunch of stakes from Northern California come and listen to speakers and do activities. We had Elder L. Tom Perry, John Bytheway, President Dalquist (The general young men's president of the church.), and Hank Smith (A funnier John Bytheway) come speak to us. They had ziplines, a huge slip n' slide, rock climbing, and rappeling and tons of other stuff. There was about 14 stakes there, and about 4000 people. It was really fun, except for the fact that it was boiling lava hot out there. And no showers. That stunk. Or, more appropriately, we stunk.

Morell Falls Hike

This weekend Brodie and I went on a beautiful hike up near Seeley Lake, MT with our friends Sarah and Eric. Morrell Falls is the waterfall we went to. Afterwards we made our own camp site and camped! It was loads of fun and the waterfall was gorgeous! You can see a pic of the waterfall if you go to this website! Wish you guys were here to go on these adventures with us!

Hiawatha bike trail

The other day I took off work and went on an awesome bike trail called the Hiawatha Trail. It is located on the Idaho Montana border. It is old train tracks that they turned into a bike path. 15 miles and through alot of dark long tunnels. Beautiful and really cool! It is all downhill 15 miles and at the end there is a shuttle to take you back up to the top. So since Brodie is brave he wanted to try to ride all the way back up. I tried. I took about 1 hour to go 2.5 miles. I then realized we wouldn't get done until 9pm if we kept up. I went down to the shuttle and Brodie went up. It took him 1 hour to go 13 miles! He is crazy awesome and I am, I guess real slow. Fun trip!

Ink EXPLOSION!

Nothing of interest has been happening lately. Jim has been pretty busy at work and stuff. I have been working but nothing very interesting ever happens there. For all of those that don't know, I got finally got my baby tooth pulled out. I got knocked out for the operation and for those of you that don't know, being knocked out is quite a strange experience. I was completely nervous about the whole thing. I thought it would be like in the movies where the person slowly fads out into oblivion, however, that was not the case. The dr. put the needle in my hand and after a few seconds I started panicing because nothing was happening. I was like, 'Oh no, it's not going to work because I am panicing too much'... and then clunk, I was out like a light. My panic is the last thing I remember. I then mysteriously woke up in the car with a huge blob of gauze covered in blood and slobber. Not a pretty sight, just ask Jim. Strange, strange experience. So yeah, now I am missing a tooth.

The other exciting thing that happened recently is that Jim left a blue pen in his pants which then proceeded to go through both the washer and then the dryer. Pen in the washer, not so bad. Pen in the dryer, bad idea. There was blue ink over all but 3 items of clothing, and the entire inside of the dryer was covered in ink streaks. Argh! It was aweful. Luckily most of the clothes were Jim's. Needless to say we need to go shopping for him now.

That's all.
